A couple of months ago the editor of the U. S. journal, Natural
Hazards Observer, published
by the University of Colorado’s Natural Hazards Center, invited me to write a
3,000 word article on ‘the fate of the Australian policy of leave early or stay
and defend’ (against bushfires) … ‘based on my work’.
It has just
been published as its leading article ‘TO FLEE OR NOT TO FLEE’:
