Evacuated houses more likely to burn

"Hundreds flee WA bushfires." Sixty houses burned. One activity follows the other – always. Evacuated houses are far more likely to burn – and then they ignite others. A third of houses losses can be from this cause. Advance preparation, and knowledge of how to react safely, does prevent bushfire tragedies - even on Black Saturdays.
