Mayor commends Essential Bushfire Safety Tips to council staff

The Mayor of Mount Alexander Shire has recommended that council staff refer to Essential Bushfire Safety Tips. ‘Tips’ contains new chapters on township protection, shelters, refuges and bunkers, furnishings, gardens, animals; and first aid. It reveals research findings into the real reasons why people died who stayed with their homes on Black Saturday.
